This information is useful and practical. It is important both before and after RigaBrain® brain training sessions.

Before and after a RigaBrain® session it is recommended to review this material again.

Before starting a RigaBrain® session, ask yourself an important question:

Are you ready for changes that may begin even after the first visit?

Sometimes people prepare themselves for such changes for years. In some cases we know people who prepared for these sessions 7 years or more.

To understand this better, we will look at four important questions connected with readiness for change.

Question 1 – Emotions

Let us start with emotions.

Can a person suppress emotions?

Most people would answer yes, because almost everyone has suppressed emotions at some point in life.

These emotions may be connected with:

  • past experiences

  • events we remember

  • events we do not fully remember but that left traces in our subconscious

Sometimes emotions are suppressed so deeply that we may believe they do not exist at all.

During the process of brain training, when the brain begins to reorganize itself, suppressed emotions may sometimes surface again.

This may happen:

  • during the session

  • shortly after the session

  • sometimes 1–2 months later

Why does this happen?

Because the brain is optimizing its activity and may begin releasing what is unnecessary, including suppressed emotions.

These emotions may originate from:

  • personal experiences

  • unconscious memories

  • family patterns from early childhood

When emotions appear during sessions

Sometimes people experience emotions and say:

“This cannot be connected with me.”

However, during a session the brain cannot create something completely new.It can only reveal something that already exists in the brain.

For example, someone may suddenly feel:

  • loneliness

  • abandonment

  • sadness

Even if they believe they have never experienced these feelings before.

In such situations there is no need to analyze the cause immediately.

The most important approach is:

  • stay calm

  • accept the emotions

  • allow them to pass naturally

Many clients report that the most helpful reaction is simply saying to themselves:

“Thank you.”

Acceptance helps avoid panic and makes the process smoother.

How to release suppressed emotions

People often ask:What is the best way to release these emotions?

Based on experience from thousands of clients, the most common methods are:

Crying

Allowing emotions to come out through tears.

Music

Music can help emotions surface naturally.

Emotional reflection

Movies, books or stories can help trigger emotional release.

However, it is important not to fall into self-pity.

As soon as self-pity appears, try to shift your attention to something else.

Alternative method – writing

If emotional release is difficult in everyday life situations, another method can help:

Write continuously by hand.

Write everything that comes to mind:

  • without punctuation

  • without structure

  • without stopping

Paper can absorb everything.

This method helps the brain release suppressed emotional tension.

Speaking with a neutral person

If emotional difficulties become overwhelming, it is advisable to speak with a neutral person, such as:

  • a psychologist

  • a psychotherapist

  • a neutral professional listener

Friends or relatives are often emotionally involved and therefore less suitable.

Interestingly, even a conversation with a stranger can sometimes be surprisingly helpful.

Question 2 – Anger and aggression

The second question is:

Do you feel suppressed anger or aggression inside yourself?

Just like suppressed emotions, hidden anger can prevent the brain from reaching a more optimal state.

During the process of brain training the brain may attempt to release accumulated aggression.

After sessions some people report:

  • increased irritation

  • impatience

  • sensitivity to small details

For example, things that previously went unnoticed may suddenly become irritating.

This is often described as a kind of internal observer appearing in the mind.

The person notices their reactions from the outside.

How to release anger

The most effective method reported by many clients is physical activity.

However, there are several important conditions:

The activity should:

  • involve both sides of the body

  • include repetitive movements

  • last long enough to reach fatigue

  • be physically safe

Examples may include:

  • intensive physical exercise

  • hitting a pillow

  • shuttle running

  • repetitive arm movements

The goal is to reach a state where the mind begins to quiet down and suppressed tension is released.

Question 3 – Willpower

The third question concerns willpower.

People with strong willpower often maintain productivity by suppressing problems.

They may metaphorically place problems into capsules and build “shelves” over them.

This allows them to maintain productivity for a long time.

However, over time these hidden problems accumulate.

During brain training sessions this internal system may temporarily collapse.

As a result:

  • productivity may temporarily decrease

  • internal restructuring begins

Later productivity may return in a more stable and effortless form.

Question 4 – Control

The fourth question is about control.

Do you often try to control:

  • events

  • people

  • situations

  • yourself?

Control can create a sense of stability.

However, sometimes this stability is only pseudo-stability.

The brain itself functions as a dynamic self-regulating system.

It works best when it is allowed to adapt and reorganize naturally.

During sessions some people report sensations such as:

  • feeling as if they are floating

  • temporary absent-mindedness

  • temporary forgetfulness

This usually passes as the brain reorganizes itself.

Physiological reactions after sessions

Some people notice temporary physical changes after sessions.

These may include:

  • changes in heart rhythm perception

  • changes in sensitivity to кофеин

  • increased thirst

  • improved visual perception

  • temporary fatigue

  • stronger body awareness

These reactions are connected with self-regulation processes in the body.

Brain cleansing process

Some clients describe sensations similar to a mental reset.

When the brain relaxes, metabolic waste products accumulated during intensive thinking may begin to clear.

Scientists sometimes compare this process to a “cleaning system of the brain.”

After this process people often report:

  • clearer thinking

  • improved concentration

  • better mental energy

Self-awareness and results

Self-awareness plays a significant role in the results of brain training.

People who carefully observe changes in themselves tend to achieve more stable and long-term results.

Important aspects to observe include:

  • emotions

  • thoughts

  • thinking patterns

  • attitudes

  • physical sensations

  • cognitive abilities such as memory and concentration

Statistics from RigaBrain® experience

Based on accumulated experience:

  • about 30% of clients report noticeable results after the first session

  • about 90% report results after 10 sessions

The number of sessions varies depending on the person.

Many clients attend 20–30 sessions on average.

Some people benefit from only a few sessions, while others choose to continue longer.

Final thoughts

In conclusion, four important ideas:

  1. Help yourself first in order to help others.

  2. A well-functioning brain supports a well-functioning life.

  3. Success requires a brain capable of adapting and optimizing itself.

  4. To live fully, it is important to release suppressed emotions and inner tension.

I cannot promise that RigaBrain® will help every person in every situation.

However, based on experience, about 80% of people report noticeable positive changes after sessions.

RigaBrain® can help you ignore what is unnecessary in your life.

Thank you for taking the time to read this material. ___ Information before a RigaBrain® session (Full version)

This information is useful and practical. It is important both before and after RigaBrain® brain training sessions.

Before and after a RigaBrain® session, you should обязательно listen to or review this material again.

Before starting a RigaBrain® session, you need to answer one question: are you ready for changes that may begin even after the very first visit? Or would it be better to postpone everything and come for a RigaBrain® session in a year, or even several years from now?

We know of cases where people prepared for these sessions for 7 years or more. To understand why this can be so, let us look at 4 questions related to whether you are ready for changes that may begin after the very first visit.

I must admit, my task is to scare you a little, but at the same time I will prepare you for the changes that may happen to you.

My story will be somewhat exaggerated compared to reality, and the colors slightly intensified, although in fact many such situations happen extremely rarely — only about 3–5% of participants experienced anything similar. Even then, if there are even slight signs indicating the possibility of such situations, it does not mean that you will necessarily experience them, because each of us is unique in every way. My task is to prepare you, and if you are well prepared, I am confident that achieving positive results — more optimal brain functioning — will be easier and faster.

Let us begin with the 1st of the 4 questions. About emotions. Do you think it is possible to suppress your emotions? Yes, people may answer this differently — after all, who among us has not suppressed emotions? What emotions can we suppress? For example, emotions related to events you know about, when you understand that something happened, but the emotions connected with it were hidden deep in your consciousness. Sometimes we suppress emotions related to an event that we may not even have consciously registered, yet some trace of it remains in the subconscious. That is why sometimes it seems to us that we are not suppressing any emotions at all.

When a person begins working on themselves, during an intensive series of sessions, for example 10 sessions over 5 days, they may initially have no complaints. However, soon there may be a kind of revelation — a realization of the moment when they themselves, with their own mind, complicated different aspects of their life. Sometimes this does not happen immediately during the session, but about a month or a month and a half later. This feeling is based on physiological processes connected with the optimization of brain activity, when the brain wants to get rid of everything unnecessary, including suppressed emotions. The renewed system of brain functioning wants such previously suppressed emotions to no longer manifest in any way, so the brain can function and work more effectively. In this way, suppressed emotions may be connected with conscious events, unconscious phenomena, and thirdly, heredity — with what you inherited from people you were in close contact with over a long period of time, especially those who were near you up to the age of 4–5. These may be parents, aunts, uncles, nannies, grandparents.

What happens then? Often we observe that after a session or during a session, a person experiences emotions or feelings and says: “This cannot be connected with me!” For example, one woman said almost immediately after a session: “I felt lonely and abandoned by everyone.” However, I can say that during the session, consciousness cannot produce a feeling that comes from somewhere outside — only something that already exists in the person’s brain. This means that such emotions are simply being suppressed in their consciousness. For example, the feeling of loneliness and abandonment, even when someone says they never experienced such emotions either in childhood or in their current family, but suddenly these sensations appear. One may continue sessions without analyzing what such feelings are connected to, simply letting everything follow its course. I will still explain how best to do that. But there are people who want to understand where this comes from and why. For example, the woman mentioned earlier turned to specialists — psychotherapists, psychoanalysts, and so on. She found the reason why these emotions overwhelmed her. They were feelings experienced by her mother in childhood, which her mother had never told her about. Her mother was born in Siberia and until the age of 5 was completely alone, living with strangers, where she constantly felt lonely and abandoned. That feeling was so strongly expressed that the daughter, during the session, was able to describe her mother’s emotions and verbalize sensations her mother herself could not put into words. These emotions manifested in such detail that she even described the room and the arrangement of things in the room where the little girl had lived.

Please note: during RigaBrain® sessions, our task is not to analyze the causes of different emotions. It is simply necessary to allow everything to unfold naturally. When emotions begin to intensify, it is important not to become frightened (“Oh no, during a brainwashing session with Pēteris, some strange emotions overwhelmed me”), but instead to calm down and return to a sense of stability. Many people already know how to do this well. I can also share my experience: most of the 7,000 different people told us that what helped them most was realizing that these emotions should be accepted. There is no need to worry. It is better to say “thank you” to yourself for the fact that these emotions appeared, and to accept them with gratitude. This prevents panic around new sensations (“My goodness, what is happening to me?”). Also, you should not tell yourself that you are strong and will cope with this, and you should not try to control your emotions. They should be released. But what is the best way to do that?

Your own way of responding in such a situation may help. But again, I want to share the experience of 7,000 other people. Most often, they said that the most effective way was to release suppressed emotions through tears — simply to cry them out. And if this mechanism does not start by itself, then music may help, as well as empathy with people in similar situations through films, books, stories, and so on. By empathizing, we unconsciously release our emotions through tears. But there is one very important point — you must not go to the other extreme and begin to pity yourself. As soon as you feel deep self-pity, there should be a click in your consciousness, and you should try to leave that state. You need to switch.

I understand that in some situations this is impossible because of family, work, colleagues, people living in the same room, and so on. Then there is another option — handwriting a letter in a chaotic, nonstop, free-flowing form, without punctuation. You should describe everything that comes to mind. Paper can تحمل anything. In this way, we can get rid of emotions that are unnecessary for you. I should also say that if psychological difficulties arise and the person cannot cope on their own, I strongly advise speaking to someone emotionally neutral, such as a psychologist or psychotherapist, at least once or a few times. That means friends and acquaintances are not the best option in such a case, because they are emotionally connected to you. By the way, sometimes a conversation with a stranger on a park bench helps as well.

Thus, if there are suppressed emotions in your consciousness, and if you are ready for the fact that these conscious or unconscious feelings hidden deep in the subconscious may become vividly noticeable again in your perception of the world, if you are ready to accept that they existed in the past so that you can change your life for the better and arrive at greater peace, then you need to clearly understand that suppressing these emotions prevents your brain from being in a state where it can organize its work in the best possible way.

If you are ready, then we can move on, because, as mentioned earlier, the four important questions are connected with whether you are ready for changes that may begin after the first visit.

By the way, there are other aspects worth paying attention to when speaking about emotions. For example, how may they manifest? They may show up as a period of intensely strained thinking, when existential questions that may once have been very important for you become relevant again. After the first session, these may become especially vivid again: Who am I? Where am I going? Why? What am I doing? There may be a sense of emptiness, a conviction that you are a complete zero and that everything you have done is nonsense. In other words, everything that had been built in your consciousness as an ideal may be completely разрушено. All of this is for the sake of later gaining stability and the right direction in life through more optimal brain functioning. During this period, there may be a desire to isolate yourself from others in order to reflect on what is happening around you, because your attitude toward the world and your worldview begin to change. In other lectures, I have already explained why this happens.

In essence, the first session is a kind of exam showing how well you have worked on yourself up to this point. This is best described through three levels of awareness. Imagine there is a first level, where you are aware of your feelings and sensations and can verbalize them, that is, describe them in words. The second level is when you are aware that you have different emotions, but cannot express them in words. The third level is when a person understands that some processes are taking place inside, but does not understand their essence — these are automatic processes happening in the subconscious. So, with the first two levels, a person can work independently. And this is indeed necessary — you need to change your attitude, your consciousness, your thinking, your perception of the world. This is something you can do yourself; you can change yourself for the better. However, the more unrealistic dreams and castles in the air you have in your consciousness, the more you deceive yourself and convince yourself of things that do not actually exist, the lower your “exam grade” will be. And vice versa — if you have truly aligned your consciousness with the real situation in your life, the grade will be high. You will get a “ten,” and your sensations after the session will be fantastic. You may see many things in a completely different light, including things you have read about or heard in other people’s testimonials. Since the first two levels — the ones you can influence — affect the third level, which is connected with the subconscious, and RigaBrain® sessions influence that third level — the subconscious — then when the first two levels are in order, working on the third level and clearing consciousness becomes much easier. A person seems to breathe something out and says: “Wow! What results! Incredible! Look what is happening to me!” But if the first two levels are not in order, then we cannot clear the third level, and then, figuratively speaking, the lower part pushes the upper one: “Hey, you up there! Put your head in order! Change your attitude! Change your worldview!” After the session, a person may feel anxiety and discomfort, as if sitting on pins and needles. Something inside compels them to change. Because the system wants to work in an optimal mode, but often the person themselves prevents that. During the sessions, you are able to train, and the sessions, like a good coach, push you forward.

Everything above concerned emotions. And if you are ready, we can move further.

The second question is this: do you sense suppressed anger or aggression within yourself? What is the purpose of this question? The point is that hidden anger, like suppressed emotions, is something that prevents your brain from developing and reaching a more optimal level of functioning. What does the system do in such a case? It acts in such a way that everything unnecessary rises from the depths to the surface of consciousness, trying to clear itself of aggression. What may anger be connected with? With certain people, life events, the structure of the world, the system in which a person lives, their work, and of course you may also be angry with yourself for something you did or did not do. However, regardless of the cause, the first thing to do when such sensations arise is to analyze them, to imagine that this is some kind of threshold or irritating barrier. After the session, this barrier comes closer to you. Small things and details that you previously did not notice begin to irritate you. For example, where the computer mouse is placed, what is happening around you, what is in front of you, how a child is dressed, what papers are on your desk, how someone is driving in front of you, how some mother behaves and what sort of child she has. These and other life nuances begin to irritate you more and more — you may dislike your boss or other workers, a dog or a cat. At first this expresses itself as discomfort, but people often say that these sensations differ from ordinary everyday irritation, because a kind of conscious observer appears in the mind and the person begins to observe what is happening as if from the outside. “Oh, interesting, so this is what irritates me now.” Of course, this is not entirely pleasant, especially for your loved ones. Sometimes people even warn their relatives that for some time after the sessions they will be more irritable and impatient. But all of this is connected with the process of clearing consciousness, and the more sensations you have been suppressing, the more vividly your anger or irritation may appear.

What should you do? First, again, try to calmly accept all of this in yourself and not give up. Say “thank you” for the fact that this anger has awakened in you, and do not tell yourself that you are strong or that you must control yourself. On the contrary, in an appropriate form, allow these feelings to come out. Do not try to calm yourself down. Let everything unfold naturally.

What should you do next? You should try to find your own most effective way of responding in such a situation. I can share the experience of 7,000 different people. One of the most effective approaches is active physical activity. But there are important conditions that must be observed. You need to find a type of activity that matches your health condition and physical fitness, and it should involve both sides of the body. These actions should be repetitive, and you should do them for a prolonged period, not just a few times but regularly. It should be a type of activity that you can do safely, but almost to exhaustion. When you feel that you have no strength left, you continue. At that point, your mind switches off or begins to switch off, and in this way you can get rid of unconscious, suppressed anger or irritation. Please note: there is no need to analyze how or why. It is best if such activity is done before sleep. When we have no strength left but continue, we may cry out, shout, and release everything unnecessary outward.

What is best to do? People often think this could include elements of boxing. For example, hitting a pillow actively, and when you have no strength left, falling onto it. Many people ask about running, but if you just run, it may take too much time. In that case, shuttle running may be better. Some people prefer lifting their hands up. One-two, one-two, one-two. In the first minute it even feels pleasant, but after the second, third, fourth minute, we begin to think, it becomes harder, and after a few more minutes we may start to express our anger, even with wild screams. The conclusion is: each person has their own way.

Thus, if suppressed anger or aggression may manifest in you, be prepared that after a session there may begin a period of heightened irritability, impatience, unwillingness to tolerate, anger, and even aggression.

If you are ready, we can move on to the 3rd question out of four.

The third aspect is willpower. What can you say about yourself? Is strong willpower characteristic of you? What do you think?

This question arises because in my practice I very often observe that people with strong willpower use it for productivity. I will tell you about one mechanism, and you can reflect on whether you have ever acted in this way, or perhaps still do. If this is not relevant to you now, at least you will know about such a situation in the future and, as they say, not step on the same rake again. In people with strongly developed willpower, we observe in practice that when productivity declines, a certain mechanism starts: using their willpower, they try to encapsulate the cause of the decline in productivity. In other words, they bury it deeper and put a beautiful shelf on top. In this way, by using willpower, they raise their productivity back to the previous level or even higher. As a result, the person becomes highly productive, very successful, and may reach all kinds of heights. But if such a mechanism is used more and more often, the reward system activates — look how well everything was done and what results were achieved! Over time, the number of such encapsulated problems and shelves above them grows, and a whole forest may appear. The person remains productive, successful, and able to overcome new challenges.

What can happen after the first session? If a person uses the mechanism described above, then in 99% of cases this happens to them: the shelves built in their mind are knocked down, and what was placed in capsules is opened and released. After this, work productivity does not merely decrease — it drops rapidly downward. When the lowest point is reached, the person faces a choice: continue the process and, after regaining stability, rebuild productivity in a more stable form, or stop everything and, using the already familiar force of thought, rebuild the same shelves again over the course of a week to two months and remain productive and successful as before.

However, there are two important nuances — the difference between the former productive world of shelves and the new consciousness with another basis for productivity. In both cases, the person may be productive at almost the same level, but in the second situation — and perhaps you even know such people — the person performs their work with ease and without tension. Maybe you have sometimes felt this yourself, or someone has told you about it. In the first situation, to perform work, a person must spend many internal forces and external resources to maintain this grand system they themselves built, which supports their productivity. One can live like this and even live quite well. But this first option has two interesting sides. First, such a person will never — and I can say this with confidence, never — know their true potential.

Why? Because they use their resources to maintain their so-called shelf system in working condition. And second, even if such a person remains successful and productive throughout life and achieves many heights, then, which is very sad but true, while building yet another shelf, under the influence of some unplanned event — and I often heard about this while working in psychiatry and talking to different people — something that may seem like nonsense from the outside, for example a black cat crossing the road, they may suddenly become unable to manage their own behavioral system in a nonstandard situation. Their hands become too short, and impossible to lengthen. The system cannot withstand the pressure of new reality, the shelves collapse one by one, and behind them the person’s inner world collapses as well, and from the height of all their achievements they fall into the abyss. If you have already experienced such a downward collapse, this is a sign of burnout syndrome, which in turn causes mental and physical health problems. In the best case, a person may recover in several months and return to work. In the worst case, health problems may drag on for a long time, and it may even become necessary to leave a particular field of work forever.

Therefore the question arises: if such iron willpower and a similar shelf mechanism are characteristic of you, are you ready for the fact that in the post-training period your work productivity may temporarily decline, so that after the sessions it can recover in a more stable form?

If you are ready, we can continue.

The fourth of the above 4 questions. Are you characterized by a tendency or desire to control circumstances or events in your life? This is a question about control. What are we actually capable of controlling? We may control or want to control other people, events, children, ourselves; we may do this consciously or unconsciously; sometimes such a trait is characteristic of a person’s personality type. There is indeed a personality type for which such a tendency is typical. But that is not the main point. In my practice, I came to the conclusion that control is a factor that slows brain activity, meaning that a person with a tendency or desire to control consciously does not allow their brain to develop or move toward a more optimal state of mental functioning. What do they do? They try to control everything and keep themselves within a system built by themselves. I have not yet met a person who wanted to avoid a sense of inner peace and stability. On the contrary, all people strive to reach a state of peace and stability within themselves. Yet the control system we build forms a kind of internal pseudo-stability. It cannot be considered the stability we truly seek; this pseudo-stability is provided by various so-called zones of safety and comfort. These are the zones where we feel calm and secure, but precisely these zones do not allow us to grow, because after even the first session your brain will strive to create for itself a zone and a state in which it can function and work more optimally. But this is not the state in which it is currently functioning. One could say that your brain will want to move three steps forward immediately, while you will want to slow this process down and will do everything possible to return to the former state that provides your familiar sense of stability, which in fact is only pseudo-stability. To understand this better, imagine a huge pole with a pointed end. The lower part of the pole is not fixed. And at one fine moment, this pole suddenly starts falling. You run up and try to hold it with both hands from one side, but it falls the other way. You move there and try to push it back. In this way, you strive to ensure balance and stability, spending all your internal strength and often external resources as well.

One can continue living exactly like this. However, the way our brain works — I am not speaking now about neurology or anatomy — can change, develop, adapt, and this is what the system supports. Our brain is a complex system characterized by dynamism, chaos, nonlinearity, and self-regulation. The positive thing is that the brain receives information from the world around us through our senses and changes continuously. At the core of the changing system of brain functioning are dynamics, chaos, self-regulation, and nonlinearity. There is even a calculated mathematical model of how the brain functions, and the more optimal the level of our brain activity, the better this mathematical model works in our organism and supports forward movement.

Now I suggest once again returning to the image of the pole and the first variant of mental functioning, where we push ourselves into certain frames, which can be compared, for example, to a pond. One may clean a pond from mud and algae and fill it with clean water, and then the water becomes completely clear and pure, so much so that one can even feel the smell of ozone in the air — in other words, our brain works ideally. But after some time this pond will overgrow and become dirty again, and you will clean it again, and once more everything will be fine. So in some cases, perhaps, it is not even worth changing anything or striving for anything.

However, we and our brains are created quite differently from how we imagine. Our brain can be compared to a rushing mountain river that is constantly in motion and can change its course. It is exactly this active flow that helps get rid of what is unnecessary and receive what is needed at a particular moment. There lie our sensations, attitudes, opinions, and so on.

During a RigaBrain® session, the already mentioned controlling mechanism switches off, after which a feeling of floating may arise. People often say exactly this: “I feel like I’m floating!” The person does not become apathetic; they can see and hear perfectly clearly, but the worldview changes, and this is very noticeable. There are things about which people say that they consciously continue to control them, but there are also things that become unconscious, as if the conscious and unconscious parts are disconnected. The more there is in consciousness that is unconscious — comparable to the lower part of an iceberg — the easier it becomes, as if with scissors, to cut away everything unnecessary. Then a person feels even more strongly that they are floating; perhaps they become somewhat absent-minded and forgetful.

You may have noticed such qualities in yourself even before, but after the session absent-mindedness and forgetfulness are not connected with the person having too much work, but simply because they are “floating.” The more a person controlled themselves before, the more clearly they may feel that they are “floating.” For example, we once had an accountant at a session, very punctual and someone who controlled everything around her. After the training, it turned out that for an entire week she forgot to transfer money to the bank account and simply carried it in her handbag until her boss asked: “Where is the money?” Only then did she remember, although such forgetfulness had never been characteristic of her before. There was another case — a person forgot to drive their parents to the airport. Before that, they had also been very punctual and controlling. After the session, however, absent-mindedness appeared. All of this is connected with the process of change and gradually passes. After that, the person’s brain functions and works much better. It is important to understand that there is no point in stressing about what we cannot change; all attention should be directed toward what must be changed. Because of this, people ask: “Is life really possible without control? Otherwise wouldn’t anarchy begin, and nothing could be done properly?” Control does have positive sides, because a person can monitor a process — exactly monitor, not absolutely control everything — and only step in when there is real need.

To understand this aspect better, we can once again use our imagination. Imagine a warm summer evening. You are sitting in a comfortable chair by a still lake like a mirror, on which a few boats are floating. What are you doing? You are simply watching those little boats as they move. But what changes if you start controlling the process? You might begin moving from one boat to another, trying to row in some direction or jumping into one of them, and in that way you would completely exhaust yourself during that evening.

A RigaBrain® session may overturn such a boat in which you are sitting, and then a floating period may begin in your life. So the next question arises: if the mechanism of control is characteristic of you, are you ready for the fact that after the session there may be increasing absent-mindedness, forgetfulness, and even indifference? If your answer is “yes,” we may continue. If “no,” then perhaps you should come to us after some more time.

So, we have looked at 4 questions about whether you are ready for the changes that may begin after the first visit. We talked about emotions, anger, aggression, willpower, and the mechanism of control.

Let us continue! RigaBrain® is a tool that each person can use as they choose. The first session, as already mentioned, can be compared to an exam that shows how well you have worked on yourself up to this point. And I have told you about the three levels of awareness.

What else should you be prepared for? What else should be taken into account when attending RigaBrain® sessions? We have already spoken about emotions and the mind, and now let us look at what happens in our body and organism. The first question is: do you have any complaints related to heart function and blood pressure? The point is that after a session, heart function and blood pressure may normalize, which may cause discomfort because of this sudden normalization of your condition. Sometimes, if a person has had panic attacks or feelings of anxiety, there may be a feeling during the session as if the heart skips a beat, or in the period after the session the pulse may become faster. Why does this happen? Because the rhythm of the brain is connected with the rhythm of the heart, and the rhythm of the heart is connected with the rhythm of the brain. These two organs need to coordinate for the process of change to begin. If after the sessions you feel unusual symptoms, this is normal. Almost everything connected with discomfort after a session is a good sign, because negative side effects are not possible. We will discuss this in more detail.

Now another question related to blood pressure. How are things with your coffee consumption? Do you drink coffee and how often? Is it simply a habit, or is coffee a stimulating drink for you? This question is connected with the fact that in the period after a session, because of improved self-regulation, coffee may affect the body in a completely different way. If before you were used to drinking one cup of coffee, then after a session this one cup may feel like a whole bucket of coffee in terms of effect. As a result, in the following hours you may experience rapid heartbeat, as if from a coffee overdose. Very often our clients tell us after sessions that they no longer want coffee, that it no longer tastes good to them, and that they can no longer drink it at all. There were also people who used to drink coffee regularly every morning, but after sessions stopped drinking it.

The next question is about vision. Do you have any complaints about your vision? Do you wear glasses or contact lenses? What may happen after sessions? And this happens very often. If your vision problems and deterioration are not connected with physiological changes in the structure of the visual system but rather with perception — with how visual information is perceived — then after sessions your vision may improve. And this happens often. People have told us that before the session they had a 2D perception, and afterward — 3D. A person sees everything with more depth, clarity, brighter and richer colors, and the visual picture seems unusual. Therefore, if you had glasses or contact lenses but your vision improved and you felt some dizziness, you should go to an eye doctor and change your glasses according to your new level of vision. This should be done even if you saw the doctor a week ago, because a session may significantly improve your vision.

The next point. If you travel by car, then after the session you should drive even more carefully, because spatial perception may change. And until you get used to the new situation, on the road, on turns, when entering certain places, or while moving in dense traffic, incidents may occur. Therefore after the session you should be more attentive when driving. It may be better to walk one block first and only then get behind the wheel.

The next question concerns your bite. Do you have any complaints regarding your bite? Has a dentist perhaps mentioned this to you? Why is this important? The greater the deviation from a normal bite, the more negative the influence on the rhythm of your brain’s work.

Since the chewing muscles are among the strongest, and their work affects the brain. In the case of an incorrect bite, one hemisphere of the brain is more affected than the other. We can visually show this to you on the screen when you come for your first session. You will be able to see what happens in your brain during jaw movement, how the brain reacts to even or uneven load on the teeth. This factor may slow the process of change in your brain activity, but it does not mean that you should not come to sessions. However, perhaps the results after the session will not be as stable as in people whose bite is normal.

The next question: do you have complaints related to the respiratory system? Perhaps asthma or allergies? In other words, anything that interferes with the flow of oxygen to the brain. This also affects brain activity.

You also need to answer one more question — about intestinal function. In the period after the session, or even during the session, the brain begins actively to organize itself, and our intestinal tract can be compared to a factory producing many substances the brain needs. The intestines also begin to function more actively. Therefore, do not worry if your stomach starts gurgling or rumbling during the first minutes of the session. After the session, observe the reactions in your stomach, and if at first you have some complaints, everything usually normalizes soon.

Next — a question about hormones. Do you have complaints related to the thyroid gland and so on? If there are disturbances in the hormonal system, this may become a slowing factor in the process of improving brain function. Changes will still happen, but more slowly than in those who have no complaints related to the hormonal system. Therefore this aspect matters to us. There have also been cases where people reported after sessions that hormone function in their organism became more balanced. Also in the post-training period, though rather rarely, there were cases when women reported changes in their menstrual cycle and unusual bleeding. All of this is also connected with self-regulation and the clearing processes taking place in the body. But more on that another time.

The next question is: is body asymmetry characteristic of you? Because in such a case far more of the body’s internal resources are used, including those of the brain. Therefore correct posture is very important. Otherwise, one should consult an osteopath or physiotherapist and then do the necessary exercises to restore proper posture and thereby support more optimal brain functioning. If body asymmetry is very pronounced, in some cases it is harder to support more optimal brain activity, and RigaBrain® sessions may need to be attended more often to maintain improvements.

The next question is about medication. What medications or supplements do you use? Because even after the first session, the effect of these substances may become stronger. You may need to reduce the dose, but only after consulting your treating doctor. All of this happens because the body begins to work better, begins to self-regulate, and no longer needs as many active substances. Therefore, if discomfort arises, it is necessary to analyze whether there may be symptoms of overdosing on the medications you use, and consult your doctor regarding dose reduction. Also regarding medication — if possible, during the post-session period I do not recommend starting or stopping any medications, because then it will be harder for you to observe the changes after the training. However, in case of urgent necessity this is possible.

What else should be said about the body? There is an opinion expressed by many of our clients that after RigaBrain® sessions the body becomes “louder.” What does this mean? It means that a person begins to understand much better what is happening with them. Signals from different parts of the body reach consciousness much faster. For example, in the period after the session a person may say that their knee hurts, although the time spent in the chair was not long enough for any inflammation to begin. But if it had already started before the session, then the signal reaches consciousness faster. Then we will work more carefully until everything heals, and you may need to see a doctor so treatment can start at an early stage. Sometimes after a session teeth start hurting — they simply become more sensitive, and if there is even minor damage, a signal goes to the brain because the body’s self-protection system becomes more active and more effective. A person may begin to crave certain foods. If the body is tired, it will itself say: “I want to sleep!” It will loudly tell you what it wants, what it likes, and what it does not like. Secondly, figuratively speaking, we find out what kind of horse we are riding. If that horse, that is, our body, is exhausted, we will feel pronounced tiredness. In rare cases it can be even more interesting, when it seems we are still riding the horse, but in reality we are already carrying it ourselves. Then a person may develop flu-like symptoms. After the session there may be a temperature rise, because immunity becomes more active, there is a “war” inside the body, and it starts to clear itself more effectively of what is harmful. There may be aching bones, heat, or chills. All this is rare, but my task is to warn you. If unusual symptoms appear, observe them — are they connected with a real illness, or did they arise because the body has begun a process of change? Of course, all these unpleasant sensations pass with time.

I also need to tell you about headaches. Regardless of your specific situation with headaches, after the session improvement may begin. There are two possible variants of new sensations. If your head, that is, your brain, has long been in a state of strong tension due to lack of certain information or because you worked intensively and your brain could not rest enough, you constantly lacked sleep, you had no vacation for a long time, you did not rest, then the brain remained constantly in the “on” position. What may happen then? There is a so-called “Saturday syndrome.” Once mental tension is no longer present, there appears a feeling of a heavy, aching head, as if made of cast iron. Perhaps you have experienced such a state before — for example, after studying something intensely for a long time, and then when Saturday or rest came, the head again felt heavy, as if filled with iron. And the opposite — your head became clear again when you returned to work.

In the case of RigaBrain® sessions, such sensations are connected with the beginning of a clearing process. The more intensely your brain has worked, the more products — metabolic waste, toxins, and similar substances — accumulate in it. The longer the brain works in such a state, the more of these products build up. Then when we relax, many neurons also relax at a micro-level, as a result of which the intercellular space increases, and the fluid in the brain penetrates deeper layers and washes away the waste. Scientists have called this the sewage system of the brain. The longer your brain has gone without this kind of cleansing, the more pronounced the feeling of an iron head may be.

Some of our clients use this process, or this tool, precisely during periods of intense work. For example, they may work intensively for a week or two, and then need to present the results of their work at a presentation, or go on a business trip for a final conference or exhibition. They understand that during the intensive preparation their head simply can no longer withstand the load. What do they do? They have already gone through our clearing process before, after which their brain worked ideally. These people admit that if they had a few free days, they could clear themselves naturally by resting and sleeping. But they do not have those 2–3 days. Therefore they come for a RigaBrain® session and in one session, within half an hour, clear their brain. Then they are ready once more to function intensively, work a lot, and keep moving forward.

What else may headaches be connected with? The brain needs building material to construct new pathways and roads, to repair them, to optimize. This building material can be provided through food: healthy fats such as fish, quality plant oil, walnuts, omega-3 fatty acids, and protein — in small portions but frequently. Under no circumstances should one go a long time without drinking or eating. For example, Greek yogurt, poultry, peas, beans, dairy products, and eggs are very useful. Do not forget healthy carbohydrates either — berries, grapes, you may eat something sweet, but without harmful additives. There should also be enough fluid in the body. Drink water in small portions, but often.

After sessions, when people already understand more clearly what is happening in their body, they often feel thirst more strongly and want to drink water. We were told about a person who, after a session, walked into a store and right by the cashier drank one and a half liters of water because they felt unbearable thirst.

If you later have any questions related to what was said, please call us or listen to this introductory audio lecture once again.

For us, it is very important how well you are aware of yourself — your emotions, sensations, feelings. Well or poorly? What rating from 1 to 10 would you give yourself? If 10 means excellent self-awareness. Why is this question important? People who are very aware of changes in themselves get better and more lasting results during these sessions. When setting out on the path toward more optimal brain functioning, self-awareness is important like the markings at the edges of a road, which show that we are on the right path. In this way, one can achieve a stable result much faster while moving toward more ideal brain functioning. If we do not have these markings along the roadside, we still move forward, but much more slowly, as if through bushes and ditches.

What should you pay attention to? There are six aspects connected with different changes in yourself during the sessions: your emotions, your thought activity, how the brain functions, the types of thoughts, their content and flow, your attitude and viewpoint — how much your view of what is happening, of the past, and of the future has changed, how your attitude has changed — physiological processes and changes in the body, your bodily sensations, and cognitive processes such as memory, concentration, and focus.

What should be done after sessions, and even after just one session? First of all, you should devote time to yourself, to observation and self-analysis, so that a situation does not arise where you are overwhelmed with work and have no time for anything. The more seriously you take recording changes in your organism, the more stable and lasting the result after sessions will be. It is very important to observe yourself and notice changes, to pay attention to the aspects we have already discussed in other lectures and to the questions in the self-assessment questionnaire. I also advise becoming familiar with people’s testimonials online, of which there are many and which can be divided into categories. This will help you understand in which direction to go. Please also pay attention to the list of questions prepared for the period after the session in the handout. It reflects many different nuances, including even such details as possible changes in tiny facial wrinkles, because a person relaxes during the sessions. Your observations should be written down, and it is also useful to learn the opinions of others, because a person does not always notice the changes that have happened to them, while those around them may notice. Again, I advise filling out the self-assessment questionnaire. For those who notice no complaints, everything in that questionnaire may look ideal, but in addition one may do computerized cognitive tests available online, or standardized ones with psychologists. You may also get a consultation from us, and we can recommend a specialist.

Of course, do not forget the recommendations I presented in this audio lecture and the RigaBrain® brain hygiene tips printed in the handout. And after a session, or if you have not attended for a long time, I advise listening to this recording again, and also looking at the questions-and-answers section online, where there is also a booklet with an algorithm or program of what to do after a session — what to do in case of good results, and what to do if the result is not as desired. And of course, you may also use my support — you can contact me on social media, by email, by phone, or meet me during one of the lectures.

Now about statistics. The statistics are as follows: after the first 10 RigaBrain® sessions, about 90% of our clients reported noticeable and consciously perceived results. After 1 session, about 30% of visitors reported noticeable and consciously perceived results. How many sessions may be helpful? For stable results and lasting positive changes — from 1 session, for some people that is enough, to 200 or even more with regular attendance. The number of visits depends on your current physical, mental, and emotional condition, as well as external factors. For example, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease. RigaBrain® sessions may improve quality of life, but they do not treat. With regular attendance, quality of life improves significantly.

On average, our clients attend 20–30 RigaBrain® sessions. For 10%, 1–2 visits are enough, and then they return only when needed, usually several years later.

What should the session frequency be?

As already mentioned, RigaBrain® is a tool that each person can use as they choose. Some people attend 10 sessions over 5 days, that is, 2 sessions a day. Others come 2 times a week, once a week, or once a month, because that is enough for them or because they follow their own observations, sensations, and needs. Sometimes they return only after a year or even later.

You must also take into account factors that slow this process — internal factors, your body, external factors, your environment, and factors related to brain function itself, under which improvement in brain function is achieved more slowly. In that case, more sessions are needed, and after some time repeated visits may also become necessary.

There is a “three-month law” that you can observe yourself and tell others about. When tension appears in a person’s life, they are worried about something, everything around seems dark. This may be connected with the loss of a loved one, but some people experience the death of a pet just as deeply. Many people experience such feelings because of relationship difficulties. Please note: if you or someone you know has been in such a state for three months and cannot overcome it independently and return to normal life, having reached a dead end, then I strongly recommend going to a specialist or to a RigaBrain® session, because even after one visit this negative thinking and sense of lostness in the surrounding world may be neutralized. If three months have already passed, the process of improvement may take longer.

There is also a “six-month law,” connected with human physiology. Even after one session, a person begins to change, but for the changes to become irreversible, 6 months must pass.

In the period after the session, I do not recommend drinking alcohol. Even one sip of alcohol may significantly slow this process. We have already had such cases. Therefore, for 2–3 weeks after the session it is necessary to avoid alcohol, anything fermented, alcohol-based mixtures and tinctures, mouthwash containing alcohol, as well as kvass and similar drinks.

Who is the target audience of RigaBrain®? These are people striving for positive change and ready to work on themselves in order to improve their lives. We choose with whom we work, because we do not work with everyone indiscriminately. We already have a filtering system. By the way, one of the goals of this audio recording is also selection — so that people who are not yet ready for the process of change do not come to us.

Who can become a RigaBrain® client? These may be children from the age of two, and all willing adults, even up to 90 years old. These are people who want to improve the functioning of their brain.

How do we work with children? Most often, RigaBrain® sessions are attended by children with developmental and speech difficulties, autism, learning difficulties, communication difficulties, cases where a child has conscious or unconscious experiences, excessive sensitivity or emotionality, behavioral difficulties, concentration problems, as well as children who do not know how to express their emotions appropriately. Children are often difficult, argumentative, or conflict-prone seemingly without reason, and RigaBrain® may help determine the reason for such behavior — whether it is related to brain self-regulation, upbringing, or something else. For example, when parents have already tried not only methods from books about good parenting, but also the recommendations of teachers, and there is still no positive result. One possible reason is difficulty with brain self-regulation. In such a case, sometimes only 1 or 2 visits are needed, and as often happens with small children, the issue resolves easily, and parents say their child becomes much calmer and more obedient. In situations where the behavioral difficulties are based on other reasons, we advise seeing specific specialists.

Another category of children is young hockey players or fans of other contact sports. Parents say: “The child was perfect, there were no complaints, but one day they became easily excitable, make many careless mistakes, and their school performance also worsens.” If the child is engaged in contact sports such as hockey, the cause may be difficulty with brain self-regulation connected with microtraumas received during this type of activity. RigaBrain® sessions very often benefit such children.

What should one pay attention to when observing a child in the period after a session?

There may be improvement in all the previously mentioned difficulties and issues, however the situation may also temporarily intensify, which means that the brain wants to change. This may show up as a very strong desire for affection, as well as sleepiness. Sometimes even the next day after the session, the child looks very sleepy. Irritability or unusual fussiness may also appear. Of course, the situation settles with time.

How should one prepare for sessions?

As already mentioned, alcohol should not be consumed before coming to the training. If you want to work more on yourself before the sessions, you may engage in cleansing, take a detox course, or start fasting. It may also be useful to spend 5–15 minutes a day simply following your breath, which helps prepare for upcoming processes of change. And here it is appropriate to mention again that the first session is a kind of exam showing how well you have worked on yourself beforehand.

The RigaBrain® recommendations published in the handout, as well as the information on the website and social media, may also help you.

The next question concerns safety. Of course, everyone asks: can this harm me? I can say 100% — no. It is a safe process, as confirmed by my experience over more than 15 years with more than 7,000 clients. Positive results are also supported by the experience of my colleagues worldwide — more than 4 million sessions over 35 years — as well as clinical research. The technology has FDA certification in the USA confirming its safety, and it is also certified in the EU.

Some people ask: will this create dependency on sessions? One could say that such a dependency is possible, because your brain unconsciously strives for a state in which its functioning is more optimal. If you have never experienced such a state, your brain will not know what to strive for. On the other hand, if the brain has already recognized the value of more optimal functioning, it will tend to move toward it. More optimal brain functioning is characterized by the fact that a person is aware of how they feel, notices when they have moved away from a more ideal state, and wants to return to those “heavenly” conditions. People also begin to think about this. For example, after sessions many start following healthy lifestyle principles, wanting to move more and eat healthier food. People become much more sensitive to things that harm the body. The reason is that this is a natural state that the brain seeks. A person needs to free the mind from everything unnecessary and stop interfering with it through their own thoughts. In this regard, the RigaBrain® material on brain hygiene can help, as it is also intended to support the brain in reaching a more optimal state.

Returning to the concept of “dependency” in connection with RigaBrain® sessions, it should be emphasized that this does not mean you will necessarily need to attend constantly, because you can support more optimal brain functioning yourself. However, if laziness is characteristic of you, or if you have a very busy work schedule and no time for anything, RigaBrain® may become a supportive tool that helps maintain the brain’s ability to function at a more optimal level. In that case, your work becomes more productive, and you may reach higher results and compete more successfully with others.

Could attending these sessions be a waste of money?

Yes, you spend your money, because these trainings require financial investment. Therefore, to evaluate all the pros and cons, you are offered a large amount of varied information. If necessary, you may research the subject online or listen to this recording again.

In any case, the first visit is evaluative — it is an exam — and regardless of whether the expected result was achieved, it shows where the person currently is on the path toward more optimal brain functioning.

Again, let us use the statistics as an example: 80% of visitors report a consciously felt and noticeable result already after 1 session, 90% after 10 sessions, and for 10%, 1–2 sessions are enough.

Regarding costs. How much will you need to pay? To find out the price of this service, special offers, and the support program, you may call 27771821 or write to info@rigabrain.com. You may also connect through social media — facebook.com, twitter.com — and I also recommend visiting the portal smadzenes.lv, which is easy to remember and recommend to others. There you will find a blog and a lot of information about brain functioning that you can work with independently. For example, how to improve memory, concentration, sleep quality, thinking processes, and more. Over 15 years we have accumulated a great deal of material. I also advise visiting the RigaBrain® pages on draugiem.lv, facebook.com, twitter.com, youtube.com, where we have our own video channel with lecture recordings. We also regularly add new information on instagram.com.

I recommend telling your acquaintances and friends about this audio recording and encouraging them to listen to it. You may even give them this recording as a gift.

I also advise you to subscribe to the free RigaBrain® information newsletter, which is sent out once every five weeks. It includes recommendations, reminders, and other material about brain functioning so that anyone interested may work independently.

Before and after visiting RigaBrain®, please listen to this recording again, then book your first session to see the visual results of measurements and pay attention to your own sensations. After that, you may go through a course of 10 sessions with the frequency you prefer — once a month or more often — because 90% of our visitors reported long-term and noticeable results specifically after 10 of our trainings.

You also have the option to rent or purchase our technologies for use at home or in your professional activity, which some of our clients living outside Latvia have already done. For example, they rent equipment for a day, for weekends, for a month, or for another period.

In conclusion, I would like to share 4 insights and conclusions I have come to while working with clients.

First, you must help yourself in order to be able to help others.

Second, your brain should function more optimally — which can be clearly seen in diagrams, graphs, and measurements — so that the whole system of your brain activity functions in the best possible way.

Third, to achieve success and make the best use of your abilities, you need a well-functioning brain, and you yourself can support your future achievements.

Fourth, in order to live lightly, with joy and enjoyment, you need to get rid of what prevents you from enjoying life fully. You need to free yourself from suppressed emotions, irritation, and anger.

I admit that I do not know whether RigaBrain® will help you personally in your specific situation, but I do know that 80% of visitors reported positive and consciously noticed results after 1 session during the following 12 months.

We can help you ignore what is unnecessary in your life. Thank you for the time you devoted to reading this audio lecture text!
